I am an Assistant Professor in the Sociology Department at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I received my PhD in Sociology at Yale University. Prior to pursuing my doctorate at Yale, I worked at the Religion and Public Life Program at Rice University. I received my bachelor’s degree at UC San Diego where I graduated summa cum laude and as a Provost Scholar.
But before all of that… I was born in Australia and migrated with my family to the United States when I was five. We settled in Colorado for a few years before moving to the Bay Area. I can proudly say that I’ve lived in every state that starts with a C (California, Colorado, Connecticut—in case you’re wondering!). In my free time, I enjoy eating good food and drinking tea.
